Amplifying Democracy" Manifesto open for signatures
Ampliando Democracia, a platform that promotes reflection on how to improve governance, public policies and the quality of democracy through deeper, more inclusive and stronger citizen participation, has presented its Manifesto for the Broadening of Democracy urging political parties and public administrations to adopt measures to increase and improve citizen participation in public decision-making.
The Manifesto proposes 7 priority lines of action to public administrations and political parties, based on the main consensuses and best international experiences.
The Manifesto encourages and promotes in particular the incorporation of deliberative tools in the political system.
